Banjo lessons are available at the Keighley Musicians Centre for beginners on both Tenor four string banjo and five string Bluegrass Banjo.

Banjo is traditionally a lead instrument so, while you will start off learning chords eventually you want to be able to carry the melody so you will probably work towards this.  As with all our lessons at the Musicians Centre though you can go in whichever direction you wish, there is no set course.
