One to One Guitar Lessons

We teach a wide range of different musical styles for the guitar. The direction in which you want to study is for you to decide. For children and complete beginners, the teachers often recommend starting off on the classical guitar to build up finger strength, because if you later wish to change to acoustic or electric, it is much easier than starting on electric and then trying to explore the classical area.

Our teachers can also teach bass guitar. If you are thinking about taking up the guitar it is possible to have a trial lesson without owning a guitar but it is strongly recommended that you buy one if you are to start learning regularly with us. Practice at home is vital to the learning process. Guitar lessons cost £10 for half an hour for one on one tuition.

Starters Guitar Lesson Course

We now offer a complete beginners guitar course at Musicians Centre in Keighley.  This is a six week course of weekly lessons which plans to introduce children and adults alike to learning guitar.  The course is £40 for six weeks and we will even lend you a guitar if you need it!  The lessons are designed only for complete beginners and only run for six weeks, after this time we recommend booking into one of our one-to-one guitar lessons to continue learning.
