Hofner Chancellor archtop guitar, constructed meticulously in the German Hofner factory entirely by hand, the HCVO features a solid tightly grained carved German spruce top and European solid flame maple back and sides.
An amazing piece of engineering in any field, the Hofner Chancellor archtop has a surprisingly loud and pronounced acoustic sound with character like nothing else you will play. Coming in at a 25 1/2" (64.3cm) scale length and with the neck join at the 16th fret, playing at the dusty end is as simple as playing in first position and the 1 3/4" (44mm) nut width allows for clean full chords to be played with ease.
Hofner's own "Diamond" floating pickup suits the acoustic tone of the Chancellor amazingly well, smooth and well pronounced bass is backed up with crisp and controlled highs and an overall sheen which only a Hofner Chancellor can give. An amazing piece of construction in it's own right.
Comes with deluxe hard case with built in dehumidifier and hydrometer.
