Hofner Galaxie guitar in white from the Contemporary series. Features a basswood body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard.

Razor pickups which give a retro look and sound, quite toppy but with a nice bass response. Each pickup can be 'coil tapped' by one of the on body switches. The razor pickups are humbuckers, two single coils attached together. When the switch is activated one of these single coils turns off leaving just the one single coil pickup and giving a more cutting and top end tone.

Tremolo system is uniquely Hofner being hidden under a plate beneath the bridge. Subtle nuances can be achieved nicely, nothing too extreme but the action is smooth and consistant. This is helped by the rollers on the bridge saddles.

A unique looking and sounding guitar which will stand out both in looks and tone.
