While the new model Presidents are based on the original Presidents Hofner made in the first half of the 20th Century, details have been updated including a 16th fret join to the body and 24 frets to give players more scope and accessibility in their playing.
The Hofner New President sports a selected German solid spruce top, carved into an arch by the hands of Hofner's finest luthiers in Germany and flamed maple back and sides. Bridge, fretboard and scratch plate are beautiful cuts of Ebony which sits amazingly on the natural blonde body.
An astounding achievement of workmanship, the New President is a guitar that sounds amazing now and will mature into one of the best jazz guitars money can buy.
