The Hofner HCT5001SB Violin Bass is a a more contemporary outlook on the famous Beatle bass that Hofner created. This modern perspective of the german original is hard to tell apart as compared, its pretty much identical but with slight adjustments. As with most of the Hofner Contemporary series, it comes fitted with a centre block. This minimises feedback by reducing the bass sensitivity allowing the resonating bass tones to come through. The finish is a lovely sunburst which contrasts well with the cream scratch plate.
