Peavey 6505 Head Guitar Amp

An all valve 6505 head from Peavey with 5 12AX7 preamp tubes and 4 6L6GC power amp tubes. Two channels, rhythm and lead with bright and crunch button controls on the rhythm channel and three band EQ on the lead channel. The rhythm channel can be used as either a sparkling clean sound with tons of headroom when the crunch button is out, to a warm lowish gain distorted channel when the crunch button is depressed.

The lead channel offers bags of gain to push the valves into masses of distortion giving the perfect hard rock or metal sounds. An iconic amplifier which sounds like no other and has been the core of many a metal / rock guitarist's tone.
