The Duncan pickups give a real guttural growl and handle that low B string very well. The active circuitry in the pickup mean you get a hotter louder output, more dynamic range and actually overall less noise than you would get with passive pickups.

Controls are simple in the form of one tone, one volume and a three way toggle switch. The Demon 7 has a stop tail bridge which is very solid to produce stable tuning and great sustain.
