Schecter Green Hellraiser Solo 6 Electric Guitar

Schecter Hellraiser Solo 6 electric guitar with an unusual and stunning quilted maple top and Deep Sea Green finish. The Hellraiser Solo 6 guitars weigh some, with a chunky but contoured mahogany body. This big chunk of mahogany gives a great low end response, perfect for the hard end of rock or metal, the Hellraiser Solo 6 sports two active EMG pick ups (A EMG Active 81TW in the neck and a EMG Active 89 in the bridge). Both these pickups can be Coil Tapped (each humbucker can be made to play as a single coil) by pulling either of the volume buttons, giving you a shriller more cutting tone. Return to the humbucker setting by pushing the volume control back in and you get back to a mean heavy crunchy sound.

The neck is made up of 3 pieces of mahogany which adds to the beefy tone and the neck is beautifully sculpted at the body join to allow extremely easy access to the higher frets. An often overlooked area on guitars there's obviously been a lot of thought gone into the set neck join.

The 24 jumbo frets are finished and polished to a high standard, we always see this with Schecter and it's great. No corners are cut on the nut and saddle too, the nut is Tusq a man made ivory type material which is consistent in texture so can be cut accurately and offers great sustain. The bridge is a TonePro Tune-O-Matic with strings passing through the back of the body. The strung through body gives more of the character of the wood to the overall tone as well as helping sustain.
