Schecter Omen Extreme 6 with Floyd Rose in Vintage Sunburst

The Schecter Omen Extreme with a Floyd Rose is a beast of an electric guitar. Basswood body which gives a mahogany style tone at a cheaper price and a quilted maple top which looks stunning but also means higher frequencies are represented well.

Finished in Vintage Sunburst, the quilt on these are fantastic. Pickups come in the form of Schecter's Diamond Plus humbuckers. They offer up a grunty low end and a clear ringing top end which suit the Omen Extreme well. Pulling the tone knob "taps" both humbucker pickups making them single coil and gives you a twangier strat style tone. This makes the Schecter Omen Extreme an incredibly versatile instrument.

The bridge fitted is a Floyd Rose Special. For a floating bridge this is very stable and easy to work with however Floyd Rose trems are never as easy as a fixed bridge. So bare in mind that these need a little bit of learning to get used to them. As far as Floyd Rose guitars at this price though it's great.
