You can now purchase any instrument from Musicians Centre interest free with the Arts Council funded Take It Away scheme.

This can be used on any musical instrument, or any purchase including a musical instrument which has a value of between £110 and £2,200 paying 0% interest.

You pay a 10% deposit and then make 9 monthly payments paying 0% interest.

All you need to apply is your debit card to pay the deposit and set up the direct debit which will take 9 equal payments from your account and allow you to pay interest free. Once the application has gone thorugh you can Take it Away if you're in store, or we will post the item out to you if you apply on-line.

You can apply if you are over 18 and working more than 16 hours a week.

It is possible for someone else to apply for the Take it Away scheme on your behalf but the deposit and direct debit is set up under their name.

Either call in any of our stores, ring 01535 603136 to process your application over the phone or apply online, as soon as we have received the signed papers back and you have placed the 10% deposit we will send your instrument out straight away and you can start paying for your instrument interest free.

The Take It Away application will take 10 or 15 minutes and is subject to status.

We (Moneyway) will store and process your information on the Moneyway computers and in any other way. We and other members of Moneyway may send you information about alternative products (including those of other companies) which may be of interest to you. We may pass your details to other selected businesses for them to send you information about their products and services. We will use your information in this way whether your application is successful or not. This information may be presented to you by mail, e-mail or telephone (including sending text messages). Please write to us at Moneyway, One Arleston Way, Solihull B90 4LH, if you do not wish to be told about these products and services. This right may be exercised at any time. You can ask us for a copy of the information we keep about you. A fee will be charged for this service. You agree that calls between us may be recorded and/or monitored.

In considering whether to enter into this agreement we will search your record at credit reference agencies. They will add, to their record about you, details of our search and your application and this will be seen by other organisations that make searches. This and other information about you and those with whom you are linked financially may be used to make credit decisions about you and those with whom you are financially linked.
We may use a credit scoring or other automated decision making system.
We will also add to your record with the credit reference agencies details of your agreement with us, any payments you make under it and any default or failure to keep to its terms. These records will be shared with other organisations and may be used and searched by us and them to:
• consider applications for credit and credit related services, such as insurance, for you and any associated person;
• trace debtors, recover debts, prevent or detect money laundering and fraud, and to manage your account(s).
It is important that you provide us with accurate information. We may check your details with fraud prevention agencies and if you provide false or inaccurate information or we suspect fraud, this information may be recorded.
Fraud prevention agency records will be shared with other organisations to help make decisions on credit, motor, household, life and other insurance proposals or claims for you and members of your household.
• If false or inaccurate information is provided and fraud is identified, details will be passed to fraud prevention agencies.
• Law enforcement agencies may access and use this information.
• We and other organisations may also access and use this information to prevent fraud and money laundering, for example when:

o Checking details on applications for credit and credit related or other facilities.
o Managing credit and credit related accounts or facilities.
o Recovering debt.
o Checking details on proposals and claims for all types of insurance.
o Checking details of job applicants and employees.

You have a legal right to these details. You have a right to receive a copy of the information we hold about you.
