The tone of this guitar is pretty amazing for it's price. Clear and warm sounding with an emphasis of bass added by the dreadnought body. Dreadnought acoustics are quite big so if you think you might struggle getting your arm around a big body acoustic it might be worth looking at the folk body version of this model the DBT-DLX-F.
