Tanglewood Discovery Super Folk Electric Acoustic Guitar DBT-SFCE-N

An electro-acoustic from Tanglewood with a small managable super folk sized body. The Discovery range offers up great build quality at an incredibly low price, woods here are laminate, but don't let that put you off because the tone is still warm and pronounced. Of course all laminate guitars don't really mature with age like their solid wood counterparts but that is no reason to completely discount them if they are in your price range. Various early 80s all laminate guitars are very well respected now in terms of tone, reliability and construction.

The smaller sized body means that fingerpicking is clear and ringing and also makes it very manageable to get your right arm round. It's perhaps not as suited to strummed chords as it's bigger bodied jumbo brother, the DBT-SJ-CE-TSB but still holds it's own when strumming full chords.

Mounted on the side is a 4 Band EQ control panel which allows you to amplify the Tanglewood Discovery's great tone for live or recording work. A sturdy reliable guitar, the DBT-SFCE-N will serve you well. Natural finish.
